Well I guess it will be something of a test case but there's no reason we couldn't start another game when you're all patched up.

I think you're probably the only one here who played it extensively Max, so I'd leave the setup to you. I won't have the patch for another 4 weeks so if you get the numbers, go ahead and start and if its any good, I'll play in the next one!

I just checked it out there and it works similar to Civ 4. You input your password, play the turn, end it and then save it for the next person, who enters their p/w and so on.

So who is up for a new game?

I was thinking no barbarians, maybe disable start bias.

Any thoughts on victory conditions?

Sounds like the patch has been released, at least that's whats being said boreds.ie

We might have to look into getting a new game going if that is case.

Saw in the june/july patch notes:

While play-by-email is not yet implemented, we did include an in-between turn saving option for those that want to play via email.

If I'm not mistaken that's how we play at the moment. Will we be able to finally try a civ5 game in a few weeks?
