The lies of Locke Lamora

by Rev Hellfire » Wed Jun 11, 2008 4:44 pm

If any of you are looking for a good fantasy novel which has a nice lack of the mystical swords of the white toblerone wizards, then The lies of Locke Lamora might fit your bill quite nicely.

Its a fantasy novel set in a medieval Venetian-like city in which the main character of the book Locke works as a confidence trickster along with his troop 'The Gentlemen Bastards', as is always the way, things start to get a little complicated.
All in all, Its a fine little page turner in my humble opinion.

I believe is also due to be made into a film.
