EQ was the only one I've played that had integrated servers... which is where I met most of the Americans I am now considering playing Aion with. Course, in EQ they had everyone playing on whatever server they liked, but variable expansion times, the US would get some expansions like a month before we got them over here.

From what I've read, you'll be needing a US account for which your EU key will be invalid.

Seems like every other mmorpg out there. :hitler:

indeed.

Though that said, I believe you can change the client by configuring the region from the launcher.

bastards...

Edit: I've read up a little, its possible that your EU account does work on the US server, you just have to change your region... or something... more reading required

Do you guys know if Aion has segregated US/EU servers like WoW has? Or if its like EQ, where everyone can go on all servers?

Yeah jumpgate could be good.

I don't believe it is. Its closer to what conan had promised to be.
The PvPvE side is nice I think, with the high level stuff been PvP orientated, but requiring PvE raiding to get siege machinery, weapons etc for the PvP side.

You should take a look at it.
