Alternatives to Vodafone for both Telephone and Broadband.

Hey folks hopefully you'll be able to help me out here.

Basically I'm going to be possibly looking to move from Vodafone, since the change over from BT I've been plagued with issues accessing particular sites. Which wouldn't be such an issue except that it's preventing me from doing any online-banking.

So I'm trying to gauge what the alternatives are and what are they like.
I know Nog used/uses UTV would you recommend them ?
Eircom seem expensive, but if they're reliable and don't have high contention it might be worth it.
I'm only looking at fixed line stuff none of this wireless connectivity, and keep in mind I'm out in Drogheda so not everything is available.
