Used to buy PC Zone all the time, and I had that issue that had the XXX doom level included on CD, ooops :)

Just saw this on a gaming site, seems PC Zone is closing shop after 17 years. Kind of sad to see it go; but not totally surprising with the rise of the internet making it hard to justify the price charged.

I'm sure like myself many bought it (and other magazines) for the demo's and apps provided by the cover cd which weren't feasible to download back then unlike today. That's not mention that there are now any number of game review sites which offer the same content at no cost.
