i'd be up for it too. i'll play any settings (would be interesting if one player could play as barbs, but thats merely idle thoughts)

Cool, well, so far we have four, eight or seven would be ideal so will wait for a few more.
Will have it as a large map and give 4/5,000 points to start with and random race/civ allocation?
