Civ IV: Beyond the Sword
This was realeased yesterday and I just picked up a copy today. I am going to while away the afternoon playing around with it.
It looks like a really worthwhile expansion, advanced start for mp, all the Warlords additions (traits, wonders etc.), new techs, wonders, proper espionage now and way earlier, new units, improved air combat, Corporations (function a bit like religions), interesting tweaks to siege combat, some good scenarios, new promotions, leaders and best of all, tactical nukes.
Expect a new pbem game as soon as there's a critical mass of players with this...
Its available to buy from Steam & Direct2drive (Gamespy) next Monday. The Steam version works with box versions of Civ 4, I believe.

Picked it up myself today.
25 euro in the shops, which makes it a better deal than on steam, which from what I see isn't that good for new release game once you take into account, no disc or manuals.
I'll certainly be on for a game once we a few. Might be worth sticking a post on boards.ie to see if there's interest.

Grrrrr
Though I've bought it, its on its way to Ireland. I won't be home until mid august, and then only for a few days. If a new game starts, I will have to nominate a stand-in to get things up and running until I can take over, I don't want to miss a game that will last the 6-12 months by a couple of weeks!
I'm itching to get stuck into a new pbem. I wonder if Brazzaville has a Game outlet.

Got my copy of it today. Can't wait to dive into it after dinner. And to think it had slipped my mind until I saw this thread. Looking forward to a pbem of it.

Just back from a weekend away, installing it now, count me in as far as pbem things are concerned.
Posting on boards may just pick up more slow turn'ers :)
