ok trying to get back in motion,

ive retried the file, still no joy.

can someone else try downloading that file and see if it will load to the password screen?

that way we know who is not working, me or rev.

Right I think I have it working for you guys. I removed everything and reinstalled civ4 and patched. Then a combination of the updated dlls (added and removed between saves) seems to have sortted it.
I've loaded it in a clean patched install and it seems fine.

So without further ado, I retire once more from the game.

Byzantine, thats a mighty big stack of calv and cannon. all the action is down south of that city, unless its a different kinda action your looking for!

All Sorted i think, Admin pass reset to what it was.

so its only me, BB and the tash, and both of ye gunning for poor little me.
my options are very limited :(
perhaps there is one avenue through which i can determine who will win the game (not me tho). i'll keep ye posted.
