how to get involved?

lo guys.

been yrs since i was here (darkkeep) and just saw ur civ 4 forum.

am a big fan and would like to get involved in PBEM game.

i wait till next game or is free slot available? i dont necessilarly need to get playing now, just wanna be in consideration for next one started.

havent played civ mulitplayer yet, so have ample supply of vaseline to ease transition.

Well for the existing games, you'd need to wait for someone to bow out and you could take their place.

But a better way might be to post on the stategy forum on boards.ie and see if you can get a few more bod's to start a new game. The guys here all post there anyway. You could always try civfantics as well/

There's no need to use forums like these for the game, but we've found that it removed a lot of the uncertainty which you get with mail, as in you know your turns been sent and if you send a wrong one you'll be notified poretty quick.

The pitboss server looks interesting but with no linux version available that rules me out as to hosting one.

been to apolyton and civfanatics,
but dont really get involved on the multiplayer there, would prefer oirish players,

i'll have to overcome my boards aversion then.
