Mail sent on. Couldn't get it done in game though had to attach the save game file and send it manually through the mail. I assume that works ok?

Roo, that's what I did to you - had a bugger of a time getting my SMTP setting right on my account I was going to use until the Rev set up the alias accounts for us, so in the end I had to attach via email. (Hence the delay in me actually playing my turn - sorry everyone! )

Next time around, I'm going to use my main email account's STMP server (mail1.eircom.net - for anyone else on eircom broadband) and see if that works for me.

Ummm...wait...Priam...Roosevelt....DAMN! Is my leader the only female character?

I was trying that with my normal mail's STMP (gpo.iol.ie) and it wasn't working at all for me.

*shrugs*

Now that I know where the file is saved etc it'll be quicker though! :)

It very simple chaps

bring up the options menu and input your ISP's smtp server address into the "your details" section

here are a few examples

Eircom - mail1.eircom.net
Eircom free - mail2.eircom.net
Smart Telecom - smtp.mysmart.ie
IOL - mail.iol.ie
IOL Free - mail.iolfree.ie

google and you will find yours

/edit roseavelt you were using your incoming server not outgoing, that was what was wrong.

Well I sent my turn this morning so it might just be a case that the next person hasn't got home to do their turn.
