Ok, When you get notification that you have been added to the game, you need to do the following:

1. Register an account (or new account) here, using the name you intend to use in the game, when it finally starts. The name should be different to the one used in boards.ie or other games, so we can play anonymously.

2. When you have done that, please post a reply here so I know your in-game name (and not your boards.ie one:) ) This is as we will be using pm's to forward on turns, not email, this time around.

3. When the game is set up, I will assign default leaders to each person and establish the turn rota. The first turn will be sent by pm and fun starts!

4. When you get your turn file, double click on it and launch civ. Go to game options and change your leader name to the one you have registered here, on Darkkeep. End turn, and fwd the file to the next person on the rota.

Note: I can probably set up leader names at the start, I jst can't recall.

If I've left anything out or you're not clear on something, let me know.

I haven't decided on game settings yet, other than it will be at "quick" game speed, so if anyone has any suggestions, fire away.

I too am tugging at my moustache in frustration. My personal dictatorial moustache groomer is very worried about split ends.
