Game on man !
wow, this was quick off the mark.
right, i have d/l the file here at work, so cant play my turn untill evening (7ish).
but more worrying for me was i was having login problems at home trying to log on to this site last night(i have no problems at work),
i can play this game even with those problems, d/l the game at work, email it tom myself @ home, then do my turn and then email back to myself at work (or email to next player), however that will just slow it down so that it takes 1 full day for my move to get done for next guy.
i'll try fix my probs, just letting ye know so ye can give me a little slack.

No worries. You have to allow for these little snag's at the start. I'm not sure why you're having issues logging in. If you can give me details I'll have a look at it.
Game on man !
i thinks its something to do with cookies, and my security settings or something, i usually have problems on my home PC using forums powered by phpBB. this not first site where i have similiar probs.

Game on man !
What ever was the default.
Its meant to be on fast as well. Although it seems a bit slow, but that could be the mod.

i think its on prince,
but cant be 100% sure.
ya the mod is much slower than vanillia civ to start i think.
reason is that u need to build a building b4 u can start getting decent units like axmen (not strictly true, some units like elven archers require no building).
ive a SP game of this going on price level (ya know like to help me aclimatise to fantasy land :) ), it started slowly, was turn 200 b4 anything real big happened, but then i was mostly just building loads o stuff cause the amount of extra buildings is huge. actually only in my first war now.
it might be worthwhile starting a new game on settler level and leaving out the AI altogether, they start real quick, i know cause my 9yr daughter plays civ (LOL) and i set her up in a game (she was bowled over by the fact that u can use the animals as ur units unlike vanilia civ). the research times were tiny compared to my price level (which i had assumed would be the same).
anyone notice this mod crashin much? im getting loads of em when i go into advisors or into the civilipedia, higly annoying in such a confusing mod. (SP games only i might add)
