By all accounts, Suave's game looks to be in end game. A new game might be nice all right, but then again, I'm pretty sure I'm one of those fellows who posted above, if I could only remember which one. bloody aliases :D

Mind you, with Beyond the Sword a mere month away, perhaps it might be worth waiting. I know I'll be getting it, Don't know about the rest of you.

Of course, my appetite for civ is fairly insatiable, I'd probably be up for a game of each ;)

I was experimenting with settings and then kind of forgot about it.

I was thinking of an always-war game with no water, as late a start as possible, and possibly slower turns. In other words more of a war than the other games with no possibility of tech sharing or alliances.

I'll get this started this weekend with a new signup thread and full details of the game settings.

hmmm, in that case:

I'd advise pangaea over a map like highlands (water, but no water between anybody), and if its going to be non quick speed/late game, I'd advise making the map smaller than default for however many players show up so the action kicks off pronto.

Perhaps as 'tash said it might be worth holding it back until the release of beyond the Sword. Plus with the diplomacy game also due to start we might have enough on our hands.

Either way if it happens I'll be in.
