Sorry to hear that. I know you can get impatient when you see a unit taking 15 turns or whatever to complete at the rate the game is going but the more the game progresses, the better it will get.

Hope you reconsider but if not thanks for taking part anyway.

The first series of moves in the game are always pretty slow for pbem games, since it takes a while for the various parties to meet up, which is whats starting to happen at this point.

Anyway if you haven't actually retired from the game at this stage you could always see if someone else wants to play you place from boards.ie

If its the pace of the game you could always start one running at a much faster pace and starting at a later date, there's loads on people looking on civfantics for players and/or to join a game.

Sorry to hear that Montezuma, can't blame ya though.

At this pace I'm finding it really hard to judge how I'm doing compared to a singleplayer game.

tbh the pace is pretty slow, but more so for the next month or two i'm going to be on the road around the country Monday to Friday, therefore i won't have access to my home PC for a long period of time.

I have also selected the retire function as when i announced my retirement all my warriors and citizens commited ritual suicide.
