Vista is throwing me BSOD's every time the dialogue box comes up to attach a file. Yum. The error reporting didn't provide a solution but surprisingly the second time it did so, it tells me that my Roxio software is causing the problem, so I forgive MS now.
Hopefully I can fix the problem when I get home from work.

Och. can only post turns in safe mode. "browse" box attach a file otherwise causes a BSOD.
