It looks as though we've now lost two players, so where does that leave us? Do we continue on? Should we jack it in and start a new game perhaps on "quick" setting and maybe starting in a later period other than "ancient"?

For the record, I'm happy to continue on. The pace is incredibly slow though.

I'd agree the pace is pretty slow, but then again with the lesser number of players it might pick up.

Although maybe a new game set on quick would be an idea, the one max has running is moving along quick enough. Whats the story with the pittboss server ? Would that be an option.

Either way I dont mind.

Its not two that have pulled out but rather one, roo has been in contact with me a few times and is trying to sort out his PC, so once thats done we can assume he'll be back in the fold. Certainly the speed of the game is not exactly quick, but once the game gets going that'll be an advantage I suspect since it'll let you think more in the long term that a game which has a short lifespan.

Would anyone be on for having another PBEM game going (set with the faster gameplay options) while this one is still brewing for the ultimate, climatic battle where I crush you all...um...I mean where we peacefully co-exist into the Space-Age and beyond....

We could try and have the turns on a slightly different rotation so that the turns don't get stuck with one person and if we needed more people, we could go to boards to drum up more players?

Well I know of two other people who expressed an interest in playing, so maybe it would be worth putting a post down on boards.ie, but how can u do it without us knowing who you are :p

If you want to start one I'll create a forum for you if you want to do it here.
