Sid Meier's Colonization

I never actually played the original, as I joined the fun upon the release of Civ2 and colonization seemed old hat by then. But I'll probably give this a look when it comes out. Its based on civ4 engine but is completely stand-alone, due this "fall".

Anybody ever play Interplay's "Conquest of the New World"? I loved that game.

Now all we need is an updated version of Alpha Centauri, and I can retire from the real world entirely.
