TV - Running out shows

Post by Rev Hellfire »

Its a disaster !

With the final episode of True Blood coming next week, I'm going to be in nothing to download hell.

Anyone got any suggestions, Max was telling me about one set in teh future about people zipping around the solar system, but I canny remember its name.

Yeah - Defying Gravity. Really, really good. Lost meets Solaris is probably the best way to describe it.

Also, watch Dollhouse if you haven't. I watched the first episode when it aired and I wasn't really impressed. Problem is that the first episode was easily the weakest of the whole series. It gets way better. Some of the later episodes show the same genius present in Firefly etc. I watched two episodes and ended up on a marathon session watching the whole lot.

Burn Notice is pretty good.

Castle is great too if you haven't seen it.

Entourage is also one of my favourites.

The Unit completely rocks also. That was one that passed me by for years.

Generation Kill was a fantastic HBO miniseries - get it if you haven't seen it.

Dunno what else to suggest. It's kind of a disaster at the moment alright.

Well I managed to get the first load of Defying Gravity, and its looking good so far. That's the next few bus journeys sorted :)

As for buses I'm seriously hoping that rail link to Malahide takes months and months to get fixed, my journey has been seriously cut thanks to it.

Well I've seen all of dollhouse; must say I only found it passable. Though hopefully it'll improve in the next series.

Burn Notice looks good, my cousins are reluctant to send it over express mail at least for the first series so I'll try more conventional means and see how I like it.

Castle sounds like Murder she wrote :p though I liked your man in firefly so will most likely get around to giving it a go.

The unit I have and its very good.

We're ahead of the curve here :)
Up to the third episode, isohunt is your friend.

Must admit I like fringe in spite of itself, defying gravity was a good call by max.

The new series of house has also started, plus stargate universe is starting on tuesday. I''m a stargate nerd...

My machine recently suffered an unprovoked ddos originating from the states.
A distressing occurrence at the best of times, I'm sure we'll all been the victim of such an attack. But one unforeseen side affect of this particular attack was it tore a rip in the time-space continuum and somehow permitted me to perceive explicit details of the upcoming BSG - The Plan.

I'm curious if anyone else experienced this dimensional rip and what they thought of the new movie.

It certainly opens as tits central, which is no bad thing in as of itself. And while it explains some of the unanswered question, such what happened to Shelly Godfrey it doesn't really tell you anything new.

While it was good, it wasn't great by any stretch. :(
