The only thing that could be cooler than the Total War series would be the same, except in space. or possibly the addition of lightsabers. or boobies.

Thats why this game looks as though it may be great. Its from the same guys who made the Galactic Civilizations series. I'm hoping to find out when released next August, that its the bastard gene-spliced spider brother of GalCiv & Homeworld, living in sin in a cyber-trailer-park of strategy utopia or thereabouts, wowing all with an array of pyrotechnic slider bars. It has multiplayer too.

GalCiv was/is a pretty good game, real pity it never had a multiplayer option.
