Tash's Tango Turn Tread
In the last tango, there can be only two.
The setup:
Small, Archipelago, Snaky Continents, Low sea level, quick speed.
Classical start, advanced start enabled with 1200 points (1.5 times the standard, about enough for 3 developed cities, an extra tech and a clutch of basic units).
I believe no barbs, but I always forget that tick box so I make no guarantees
6 players in 3 teams.
Tash and Rev
Max and Nog
Justice and BB
Turn order: Me, Rev, Max, Nog, Justice, BB
I have not turned on perma-war, so there can still be backstabbery if two teams are conniving enough.
Everybody has got a random civ AND an unrestricted random leader. So I hope none of you got overly screwed, but likewise that nobody has Boudicca of England or some such pwnage inducing combo. For me, I got that fat prick Churchill commanding the Babylonians of all people.
In team mode, team members share all tech and visibility, if both members research towards the same thing, they pool their beakers so tech should advance pretty sharply.
Ok that about covers it. Perhaps not the beginning of the end, but almost certainly the end of the beginning.
Rev, over to you. Victory to team Discovery Channel!
